Refer a Student
Do you know of a student that could use our help?We offer many services, such as school transportation, school supplies, and summer programs. If you would like to refer a student to us, please fill out a referral form and give us a call. You can get referral forms from the school nurse, guidance counselors, and other student support staff.
Referral Partners
We work with the BPS Department — the schools and their principals, and our school-based liaisons — to identify families that need our services.
We also work closely with homeless shelters in Boston. Click here to get contact information for Boston’s homeless shelters. This listing does not include all shelters in Boston — the shelters listed here accept homeless families and/or homeless youth (such as runaways).
Also, we frequently refer our families to other organizations. Click here to obtain a listing of existing educational and social services in the region that may be of help to students who are homeless.
Lastly, we work with the State Coordinators of homeless services in the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. They are located in Malden. All of these people coordinate services for families that are homeless.
