HERN Liaisons

On the Ground Support

Our school support team is made up of Boston public schools’ teachers and staff. They were hired to help us identify students going through homelessness. Also, to help serve students most in need of support. These individuals are called HERN Liaisons. They were selected by their school principals to do this work based on their ability to provide good support. They have participated in significant training to prepare them to work with students who are homeless. They understand our services and resources; thus, they act as our eyes and ears within the schools.
