Get Involved
There is a role for you too! HERN offers many ways for community members to help. Below are just several ways to get involved.
- Contact us about becoming a HERN Community Coordinating Council member
- Lead an educational workshop
- Donate supplies (e.g., clothes, school materials, books, and gift certificates) to support families
- Build community awareness
- Volunteer to work directly with children and youth or help staff in the HERN office
- Attend our events and workshops
- Follow us on Facebook
- Encourage friends and associates to visit this website. Being aware of the challenges faced day-to-day by children who are homeless is a first step to understanding their plight and their struggles
